JianOren

Jian Oren is a Norwegian journalist and writer covering European politics, economics and cross-border affairs.

She holds a master's degree in communication science from the University of Vienna. Her reporting follows policy decisions, market developments and fiscal shifts, and digs beneath the headline figures to the political mechanisms and human impact behind them.

Originally from Bergen, Jian moved to Spain after her studies in Austria and brings Nordic, Central and Southern European perspectives to her work. Outside reporting she is an avid reader of political literature, economic history and classic journalism.
